The episode begins with Player spawning in the lobby and he sees Veteran and Captain arguing over who is actually Player's best friend and Player wants them to stop arguing but they continue to argue anyway and decides to start the game regardless of their bickering, Captain and Veteran spawn in the game which is taking place on polus and they get picked as imposters and make their way to the laboratory and once they're there they begin arguing again over who is going to kill who first and The Gentleman catches on to what they say and Captain immediately takes him out and Veteran angrily says "I was gonna kill him" and Captain decides to self report.
Everyone immediately asks where as soon as the meeting is called and Captain says he found The Gentleman's dead body in in the laboratory and Mr.Cheese after learning the news starts to cry out and mourn The Gentleman and Player immediately susses Captain but everyone decides to ignore Player and they all vote to skip after Captain tells them to skip, After everyone leaves the meeting room Captain and Veteran realize if they want to win the game they need to work together and they decide to do just that and they agree to leave Player alone as he's their best friend. Veteran and Captain split up and we see Veteran eliminate Sheriff and we see Captain take out Wizard in another shot.
A meeting is called and Player gets the idea to vote out Mr.Cheese as usually Mr.Cheese is the imposter and Captain agrees with him and votes for Mr.Cheese but Player holds off on voting after he gets the idea that Captain might be an Imposter and Captain merely lies and says that's crazy and Veteran goes along with it and supports Captain but Player still goes along with his theory and we see Veteran vote for Mr.Cheese and Mother agree with Player and vote for Captain but Mr.Cheese doesn't know who to vote so he skips instead and as a result Captain and Veteran take out Mr.Cheese and Mother and say that they worked together to win the game and be name Player's best friend and Player ends the match win the him losing normally and saying the Captain and Veteran are both his best friends and the three share a hug as Veteran and Captain are declared the victors.
